Privacypolicy.

What data we collect through this site, why we need it and which rights you have. In plain words.

Who is responsible

Derxmedia is responsible for the personal data collected through this site. For any question about your data, you can write to us from the contact page.

When you send us a request

When you send a request through the contact form, we store it in the site's database and receive a notification by email. We also send you a confirmation email with what you wrote, to the address you entered. We keep:

  • Full name and email
  • Business and phone, if you fill them in
  • The service and the budget you choose
  • The text of your message
  • When you sent it, from which page and in which language
  • Where you came to the site from: the site that sent you here and the campaign tags (utm) of the link, if there are any

Why we keep requests

To reply to your request, prepare the quote you asked for and keep track of how the collaboration develops. The processing happens because you asked for it, as a step before a possible collaboration.

The page of the form and the origin of the visit show us which pages and which campaigns bring in requests.

We do not use your details for advertising and we do not add you to the newsletter unless you ask for it.

Newsletter

If you sign up for the newsletter, we first send you a confirmation email. You join the list only after you confirm through its link. Signing up is based on your consent, and every email we send you has a link to unsubscribe whenever you like.

We keep:

  • Your email
  • The language you want us to write to you in
  • Where on the site you signed up
  • When you signed up, when we sent you the confirmation, when you confirmed and, if you leave, when you unsubscribed

Visit statistics

We count visits on our own server, without cookies and without third-party services such as Google Analytics. We do not store your IP address.

To tell visitors apart, the server turns your IP address and browser into a one-way code, using a random key that changes every day and is then deleted. The code does not lead back to your address and does not show who you are. The next day you count as a new visitor.

We count:

  • Which pages you view and when
  • The site that sent you here (its name only) and the campaign tags (utm) of the link
  • The type of device (phone, tablet, computer) and the language of the page
  • Clicks on email and phone links, on links to other sites and on contact buttons, and whether a form was sent (not what was written in it)

Why we count and how to opt out

To know which pages are read and which campaigns bring visitors, so that we can improve the site. The counting relies on our legitimate interest in knowing how the site is used, without learning who you are.

If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal, we do not count your visits at all.

Who sees it

Requests, the newsletter list and the statistics are seen only by the Derxmedia team, through a password-protected admin page.

To run the site we use hosting and email providers, which process the data on our behalf.

To send the newsletter we may use an email service, to which we would give the list of confirmed addresses. Once we choose one, we will name it here before the first mailing.

We do not sell your details and we do not pass them to third parties.

How long we keep it

Each kind of data has its own period:

  • Requests: for as long as it takes to reply and to keep track of the collaboration. If we work together, for as long as the collaboration lasts and as the law requires. If not, we delete them once we no longer need them, or sooner if you ask us to.
  • Newsletter: for as long as you are subscribed. If you do not confirm, you receive nothing and we delete the address after a reasonable period. If you unsubscribe, we send you nothing more and keep only the address with the date you left, so that we never write to you again by mistake. If you want that deleted too, write to us.
  • Statistics: up to 400 days. After that they are deleted automatically.

Protection against abuse and technical logs

To protect the forms and the counting from abuse, the server uses your IP address to limit repeated submissions. It holds it temporarily, in memory only, and does not store it.

The hosting provider may keep technical logs, such as IP address and time of visit, for the security and operation of the service.

Cookies

For visitors, the site uses a single cookie, NEXT_LOCALE, which remembers the language you chose. It is necessary for the site to work and it does not track you.

The statistics use no cookies and store nothing in your browser. We use no advertising cookies and no third-party pixels. Fonts and images are loaded from the site itself.

Your rights

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) you can ask for:

  • Access to the data we hold about you
  • Its correction or deletion
  • Restriction of the processing, or to object to it
  • A copy of your data in a portable format
  • To withdraw your consent to the newsletter, at any time

How to use them

Write to us from the contact page and tell us what you are asking for. If you believe your data is not handled properly, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (dpa.gr).

Changes to this policy

If anything changes in the way we handle data, we will update this page and the date at its top.
